Wool
Let us count the sheep while you sleep or more precisely the jumpers, suits and scarves. All the wool we use is recycled. This precious fibre which has been used by man since the dawn of time is thin yet highly resilient. It also naturally insulates from both cold and warm temperatures which makes it ideal for keeping you warm on those dark winter nights and cool throughout those long summer eves.
Cotton
The organic cotton we use is 100% biological. Not only do we lavish love and attention on it through pampering with organic fertilizer while it grows, when it is processed we leave out any nasty substances that could damage the planet.
Latex
As well as being particularly comfortable latex is very flexible. Latex has been used in mattress making for years as its natural elasticity offers continuous support to the back and body throughout the night. Using it in our mattresses also means we can compress them into role packs without altering their original shape when unrolled. The smaller we can make the packaging the better as that helps us reduce our carbon footprint in getting the mattress to you.

Memory foam
Sensitive to both pressure and heat it can mould itself to the shape of a warm body within a few minutes. Used extensively by the medical community memory foam can aid the prevention of nasty bed sores for the bed bound or convalescing patient. Its heat retaining properties may also help some pain sufferers who find added warmth helps decrease the pain.
Coir
Great for drinking cocktails out of on the beach the coconut is a multi-talented little chap. The heavy duty fibre that goes into our mattresses is harvested from its husk and provides minimum moisture retention and maximum ventilation to keep you comfortable the whole night through. This natural fibre not only comes from a renewable source, its recyclable and biodegradable too.
Horsehair
Traditionally horsehair shirts have been worn by sinners as an act of penance for all the bad things they have done as it can cause nasty skin irritation. Luckily for you we are in the business of comfort not punishment. We combine horse hair with natural latex to form a snug yet resilient mattress as the hair’s natural elasticity means your mattress keeps its original shape throughout its lifetime. Being a natural fibre it’s available in abundance and is 100% recyclable.
